Importance for New Zealand Coins - As part of the Commonwealth of Nations – and as a country founded on the immigration of British settlers – New Zealand has a proud relationship with the United Kingdom and its Royal family. A royal occasion such as this is worth celebrating, and this coin makes a wonderful collectable. NZ Coins feature HM Queen Elizabeth II on every coin

Information - Millions around the world watched and celebrated as His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle wed on 19 May 2018 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. New Zealand Post is honoured to mark this special occasion with a stunning silver proof coin.

Born on 15 September 1984, Prince Henry Charles Albert David, or Prince Harry as he is better known, is much admired around the world. As an unlikely successor to the throne, he has been freer to socialise, to date and to be more adventurous than his older brother. However, his wedding marks a shift in focus away from youthful adventures towards a future family.
