Design
This 1oz silver proof coin features a photograph of a brown kiwi in a burrow with two eggs. The kiwi is surrounded by engraved illustrations of native foliage, with mirror polishing on the lower half of the coin. The brown kiwi is the only species to regularly lay two eggs in a clutch. Minted from 0.999 silver, this 40mm diameter coin offers a rare glimpse of a male kiwi with its eggs. Packaged in a display case with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity, it makes a beautiful gift or addition to any collection.
