2014Christmas - Set
The stamps in the series on the theme of peace and peaceful co-existence depict a fox and rabbit on the first stamp and an owl and mouse on the second stamp. They are printed on flocked paper and therefore provide a velvety texture, which makes you want to caress it. These soft-toned stamps, in terms of touch and sight, prompt us to reflect on the festive period, but mainly to dwell upon a message of peace and hope at Christmas.
These graphically designed stamps were developed by the artist Linda Bos, born on 7 January 1982 in the Netherlands. In 2005, she graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven. She worked in a graphic design studio in Luxembourg for four years. In 2010, she branched out on her own and launched “PRETTY FOREST design + illustration”. She always enjoyed sketching by hand, knowing that she would subsequently transpose her work onto a digital format. She continues to start each illustration with a pencil and a piece of paper.
