Augustin-Alphonse Marty, born May 28, 1862 in Cambelong - Conques (Aveyron), died September 21, 1940 in Rodez (Aveyron).
Inspector General of PTT and former student of the ENSPTT, he was the organizer of mail processing to and from the front during the war of 1914-1918.
He was promoted to Commander of the Legion of Honor on June 16, 1920.
