Jersey Seasons - Spring - Set
Jersey Seasons - Spring - Set for only GBP £6.42
Although visited by tourists mostly in the summertime, both locals and visitors to Jersey are treated to the natural scenery and spectacular views which come alive in the spring months. Crisp sea air is juxtaposed with the year’s first warm rays of sun and the countryside blooms with an array of colourful flora such as the wild orchids that flower in the meadows of Le Noir Pré in the west of the Island. March also marks the start of the ‘Jersey Royal’ potato season, a local delicacy, best served with Jersey butter and a pinch of salt to bring out the unique flavour. When the days start to draw out plant life blooms, the weather calms and Jersey becomes the perfect subject for spectacular and colourful photography. Eight stamps form the fourth and final instalment in the series portraying the island of Jersey throughout the seasons and feature eight scenes captured in spring.
