Twelve teapots produced in different countries each illustrate a postage stamp. These teapots were made in Japan, China, Italy, England, the Netherlands and France. Real art objects, these teapots are porcelain, or porcelain biscuit, faience, sandstone, silver and ebony, silver. They are kept in French museums. On the cover, a photograph of three Japanese, a detail of an anonymous painting of a tea service and another work, painted by Roger de la Fresnaye, entitled Alice reading beside a cup of tea, show what break time and tasting tea.
