I am very humble and grateful that these last three stamps are now a reality. For me, this has been an exciting journey through the world of Greenland’s musical history. Also, this time, the final designs for the stamps in the music series have been chosen in partnership with TELE-POST and Karsten Sommer.
Music has a significant position in the culture and history of Greenland. Each year 10 to 15 new CDs of Greenlandic music are released, the best-selling in pressings of 5,000 copies. This is pretty impressive for a country with just 56,000 inhabitants.
