The China 2019 World Stamp Exhibition will be held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The exhibition’s organisers intend to provide the opportunity to support relationships and close co-operation amongst philatelists and stamp collectors throughout the world, as well as Chinese philatelic culture with opportunities for international creative activities.
The China 2019 World Stamp Exhibition will be held at the Wuhan International Expo Center from June 11-17, 2019, with the total number of exhibits reaching 3,500, and is anticipated to attract philatelists from more than 80 countries and regions.
New Zealand Post has created a special miniature sheet and first day cover to commemorate this exhibition, featuring 2019 issue Native Alpine Flora.
