Hamptonne Country Life Museum is a beautiful 15th century farm complex made up of three houses, as well as outbuildings such as the cider barn and stables. In recent years, the complex has been completely renovated and refurbished by the three main heritage organisations in Jersey. The National Trust purchased the farm in 1987. The Société Jersiaise then renovated the property, with the roof of Hamptonne house being completely re-thatched and the hearth being restored to its original 15th century design. The site is now operated by Jersey Heritage which, in keeping with the farming heritage of the property, keep chickens, pigs and cows on site.
