2020 Children’s Welfare Stamps - Miniature Sheet
2020 Children’s Welfare Stamps - Miniature Sheet for only GBP £6.47

PostNL has been issuing Children’s Welfare Stamps to collect money for projects aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable children since 1924. This is achieved by adding a € 0.45 surcharge to each stamp. The proceeds from all surcharges will be used for projects developed by the independent Stichting Kinderpostzegels Nederland foundation. The foundation is committed to giving children in both the Netherlands and in other countries a chance of a better life. To make this aid possible, the foundation organises, among other things, the Children's Welfare Stamps campaign. The initiative was listed in the Inventaris Immaterieel Erfgoed Nederland (Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage) in 2017. The Children’s Welfare Stamp initiative aims to offer help to children who do not have a safe home. This year, more than 100,000 year 7 and 8 pupils will be taking orders for the Children’s Welfare Stamps from 23 to 30 September. Due to Covid-related measures, a number of alternatives have been introduced to ensure everyone’s safety.
