"Every two years, a stamp with adjoining sticker is issued on the occasion of the French Youth Championship: Passion Stamps. In 2020, Moulins in the Allier will host this event. The Museum of Illustration and Youth is listed in good place on the stamp.
Located in the historic heart of the town of Moulins, the Youth Illustration Museum is housed in a mansion listed as a historic monument: the Hôtel de Mora. This building, erected in 1750 by the Cadier de Veauce family housed the Desrosiers printing works from 1836 to 18582. The hotel takes its name from one of its 19th century owners, a Spanish marquis in exile, Pascal Moreno de Mora, who carried out the development and embellishment work which gives the building its current appearance.
The hotel became the property of the General Council in 1948, which until 1991 hosted the DDAS (Departmental Directorate of Health and Social Affairs) 2. After several years of work, the building houses the MIJ, opened in 2005.
The museum of youth illustration, known as MIJ, located in Moulins, was created in 2005 by the General Council of Allier. It brings together a collection of original graphic works ranging from the 19th century to the present day. It also has a library and a documentation center with a collection of albums.
The unicorn pictured on the sticker is on one of the walls in the museum's courtyard."
