Lunar Year of the Ox 2021 - Collectibles

Issued on Tuesday, 8th December this is the tenth edition to be launched in the Lunar New Year Generic Sheet series and celebrates the ‘Year of theOx’ which runs from 12th February 2021 to 31st January 2022. The labels are designed by hat-trick design and feature paper cut-outs both on the bright red background of the sheet and the labels representing the five elements of Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. The pictorial labels depict Lunar New Year festivities taking place in five UK locations –Liverpool, Edinburgh, Swansea, London and Belfast –whilst the remainder show five generic images related to the Lunar New Year. All the labels are complemented by the Fireworks definitive-sized stamp. The Ox is the second in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. Individuals born under this sign are likely to be intelligent, conservative, dependable, honest, cautious and hard-working but can also be moodystuckin their own ways.
