2022Unsung Heroes - Women of WWII - Presentation Pack

The presentation pack includes the full set of stamps plus the Miniature Sheet in a separate carrier, and includes text written by expert Professor Lucy Noakes, Rab Butler Chair in Modern History, Department of History at the University of Essex. In the pack Professor Noakes looks in detail at the evolution of the women’s contribution, the range of jobs women did, both in the UK and across the world and the courage of all the women involved. The pack also features the iconic image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth (then Princess Elizabeth) working as a mechanic in the Auxiliary Territorial Service.
