2013L Series - Set

The new “L” stamps will replace the current “A” stamps. Valid for a standard letter for Luxembourg (up to 50g), they will be valid on a permanent basis.
The first four “L” stamps were designed in cooperation with the Design Friends association, as part of a competition for artists.

The winning designs were produced by: Laurent Daubach, Claudia Eustergerling, Nicole Goetz and Mik Muhlen.

Since 2009, Design Friends asbl has regularly organised conferences and events on design in order to bring together, in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, people interested in design, to promote creative exchanges and, more generally, to stimulate thought.

Design cannot be limited to one meaning. It covers a wide range of activities from graphic design to product design via fashion, photography and even sound design.
Publishing and graphic design enjoy pride of place at Design Friends, especially the publication of exhibition catalogues and designer monographs.
