In 2025, we mark 80 years since the end of the Second World War. This anniversary honours the resilience of survivors, the sacrifices of millions, and the hope that emerged from devastation.

To commemorate this historic moment, a new 50 pence coin has been released. It offers collectors and history enthusiasts a meaningful way to reflect on one of the most significant events of the 20th century.

The obverse of this coin features the Gibraltar Coat of Arms accompanied by the inscription Charles III - King of Gibraltar, the denomination and year 2025.
