A stamp for mental health
World Mental Health Day, 10 October, is an international UN day observed in over 150 countries with the aim of fostering greater openness, knowledge, and community around mental health.
In Norway, the campaign annually gathers thousands of schools, workplaces, organisations and individuals in a united effort. This year’s theme, "We need to strengthen our mental preparedness," focuses on how we can face adversity and uncertainty with greater resilience, and on small yet significant steps that can make a difference: maintaining routines, taking breaks, seeking fellowship, and talking about what is difficult.
This year’s stamp may be small in size, but it is great in meaning. A symbol of strength, hope and community and a reminder that we are stronger when we stand together.
