About Mount Aragats in the Armenian Painting
On May 16th, 2024, a souvenir sheet with five postage stamps dedicated to the theme “Mount Aragats in the Armenian Painting” has been put into circulation.
The postage stamps of the souvenir sheet with the nominal values of 200, 300, 380, 400 and 500 AMD represent the paintings of prominent Armenian painters Gevorg Bashinjaghyan, Gabriel Gyurjian and Hovhannes Zardaryan depicting Mount Aragats.
The souvenir sheet depicts the Mount Aragats as well as the inscription “MOUNT ARAGATS IN THE ARMENIAN PAINTING” in Armenian and English languages.
