Prominent Armenians - 125th Anniversary of Mark Grigorian

On April 30th, 2025, a souvenir sheet with one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 125thanniversary of Mark Grigorian” has been put into circulation.
The postage stamp of the souvenir sheet with the nominal value of 500 AMD depicts the prominent Armenian architect, Honored Architect of the Armenian SSR Mark Grigorian (1900-1978).
The right part of the souvenir sheet depicts some of Mark Grigorian’s works: the building of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the building of the State Theatre of Musical Comedy after Hakob Paronyan, the building of “Matenadaran” Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts.
The souvenir sheet also depicts the inscriptions “125TH ANNIVERSARY” and “ARMENIAN ARCHITECT” in Armenian and English languages.
