Jens Rosing 100 Years

Jens Rosing, the Grand Old Man of Greenlandic stamps, was born 100 years ago on 28thJuly.

At the time of his death in 2008, he was the foremost illustrator of Green- landic stamps. He still is to date. On 28thJuly 2025, we are paying tribute to Jens Rosing’s exceptional stamp art with a commemorative stamp, a souvenir sheet, a black print, a souvenir folder and a prestige booklet. All of these will be issued on the 100th anniversary of his birth.

The stamps and souvenir sheets are being created by the Norwegian artist Martin Mörck, who is the second most prolific creator of Greenlandic stamps.
