Lithuanian Manors Palace
About Lithuanian Manors Palace
The Šilutė Manor, built in the second half of the 18th century, was purchased in 1889 by the manor owner Hugo Šojus, who came from Klaipėda. The new owner of the manor was famous as a cultural and public figure of Lithuania Minor, a patron of the arts and a local historian who sought to preserve the heritage of this region. Today, the manor houses the Šilutė Museum, inviting visitors to learn about the history and traditions of the region.
