150th Anniversary of Аvetik Isahakyan

On November 11th, 2025, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 150th Anniversary of Avetik Isahakyan” has been put into circulation.

The postage stamp with a nominal value of 320 AMD depicts the prominent Armenian writer, translator, public figure, publicist Avetik Isahakyan (1875-1957).

The postage stamp also depicts the inscriptions “AVETIK ISAHAKYAN”, “150TH ANNIVERSARY” and “ARMENIAN WRITER” in Armenian and English languages.

Avetik Isahakyan is a multi-genre writer. He wrote poems, stories, fables, as well as public articles. His works have been translated into many languages. Songs, symphonies, and other musical works have been written based on his works.
