About 350th Anniversary of the Printing of the First Book in Modern Armenian - The Art of Arithmetic
On December 25th, 2025, a souvenir sheet with one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “350th Anniversary of the printing of the first book in Modern Armenian «The Art of Arithmetic»” has been put into circulation.
The postage stamp of the souvenir sheet with the nominal value of 800 AMD depicts the first book in Modern Armenian «The Art of Arithmetic» (1675) against the background of the book’s pages. The postage stamp also depicts the inscription “THE FIRST BOOK IN MODERN ARMENIAN” in Armenian and English languages.
The upper part of the souvenir sheet depicts the inscription “350th Anniversary of the printing of the first book in Modern Armenian: «The Art of Arithmetic»” in Armenian and English languages.
