The 2026 Isle of Man stamp issue Chinese Year of the Horse celebrates the Fire Horse year with eight beautifully engraved designs by acclaimed artist Martin Mörck. Each stamp captures the strength, independence, vitality and success associated with the Horse in Chinese zodiac tradition, symbolising energy, freedom, perseverance and ambition.
This issue draws on centuries of artistic and cultural heritage, from Han dynasty tomb figurines to Tang dynasty murals, portraying horses as noble companions and celestial beings. The Fire Horse, which begins in 2026, adds passion, intensity and boldness to the zodiac cycle, making this issue a powerful and auspicious collectible.
Highlighting local connections, the issue supports two Island charities: Riding for the Disabled Association Isle of Man, celebrating its 50th anniversary, and Manx Carriage Driving 4 Disabled, marking its second decade. Both organisations bring therapy, achievement and enjoyment to participants of all ages and abilities.
Available as a mint set, Presentation Pack, First Day Cover, signed First Day Cover and sheetlet, this issue is ideal for philatelists, cultural enthusiasts, and anyone drawn to the rich symbolism of the Chinese zodiac.
