A plane called Azerbaijan Airlines Flight J2-8243 was flying from Baku to Grozny in December 2024.
While flying near its destination, it was accidentally hit by fragments from military air-defense weapons.
The pilots tried to divert and land safely, but the plane crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan.
38 people were killed and 29 survived.
Later, Russia admitted responsibility, saying the damage came from its air-defense systems.
