Second Definitive Postage Due

This collection is the second Postage Due series, issued 1949, with denominations covering standard underpayment rates. Six values in a revised due-stamp design; singles without tabs are the standard collectible form. The set succeeded the 1948 J1–J5 issues as postal rates evolved. Genuine used examples on cover are scarcer than mint singles.

Tab-attached dues are a specialist pursuit; these are considerably rarer than the corresponding singles. The tabs carry Hebrew denomination or postal rate inscriptions. A complete tab set in never-hinged condition represents a significant philatelic holding.
