75th Anniversary of the UPU

This collection marks the 75th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), issued 1950. Two values depicting the UPU emblem and postal globe motifs, as part of a worldwide UPU commemorative series. Singles without tabs are plentiful and also collected as part of worldwide UPU topical sets. Israel's participation affirmed its integration into the international postal community.

Tab-attached copies complement the plain singles for completionists. The tabs bear Hebrew UPU commemorative text. A never-hinged tab pair in fresh condition is sought by both Israel and UPU topical collectors.
