Tokidoki

This issue is dedicated to Comics, with a stamp paying homage to Tokidoki and, in particular, Libertas, the official mascot of the Republic of San Marino Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka. The issue will be released on the opening day of San Marino Comics, underscoring the profound connection between philately and the world of contemporary illustration.

Created by artist Simone Legno, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Tokidoki, Libertas embodies the main symbols of the Republic: the Three Towers, also depicted in her eyes, the blue-and-white feathers of the coat of arms, her green hair reminiscent of nature and Mount Titano, and her fan, a tribute to Japan, host country of EXPO Osaka 2025.

A symbol of the Republic's resilience and independence, Libertas now appears on a stamp, ready to embark, along with many other colorful and fantastical characters, on a new journey around the world to tell the story, values, and identity of the oldest Republic on the planet.
