UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Norway

The series dedicated to UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the celebration of the Republic's diplomatic relations continues into its second year and, in 2026, pays tribute to Japan and Norway with two souvenir sheets, each consisting of four stamps with a face value of €1.35.

The Norwegian issue celebrates the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and depicts the Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord, among the longest, deepest, and most spectacular fjords in the world, recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites for their extraordinary natural beauty, characterized by sheer rock faces and evocative waterfalls.
