Christmas - Robin Hood

Created by Nick Watton, a freelance artist and illustrator based in Devon, this festively fun stamp issue from Guernsey Post celebrates a British Institution at Christmas time – the pantomime!

This musical theatre show, performed up and down the country in venues from top drawer theatres to homely village halls, manages year after year to hook audiences of all ages and is a Christmas tradition for millions of families.

Alderney Theatre Group will be waiting in the wings this festive period to bring yuletide joy to islanders with their production of Robin Hood.

This year’s panto has been written by published Alderney author Lee Flewitt who we are told is ‘blessed with an amazing imagination, a great and wicked sense of humour and doesn’t shy from having a comical go at local personalities’.
