Year of the Rabbit
About Year of the Rabbit
Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, is celebrated at the second new moon following the Winter Solstice. (This year, January 22, 2023.) The festival marks the end of winter and the beginning of a long-awaited spring! According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit.
And since postage stamps are very popular in this regard, this year, as every year, a stamp related to the Chinese calendar was issued. The issue is in the form of a small sheet consisting of a 1 coupon and 8 stamps.
