About Festival - Passover - S.Shavuot
Passover is a major Jewish festival that usually lasts 7–8 days. It celebrates the story of the Exodus, when the Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt. The holiday is called Pesach in Hebrew, meaning “to pass over,” because God “passed over” the homes of the Israelites during the last of the ten plagues.
