2014Centenary of the Estonian Academy of Arts - Set

The Estonian Academy of Art is a sign, a symbol in Estonian art education, which will be one hundred years old this year. The Estonian Academy of Art, the only art history educational establishment in Estonia, feels its responsibility for the quality of studies, refresher studies and scholarly work in areas that shape the cultural space of the society and the living environment. As an institution of study, scholarship and culture EKA proceeds in its activity both from the principle of preservation of art culture as well as from the principle of continuity, so the art culture as well from the principle that art culture is in a constant movement and EKA is prepared to treat novelties both on the level of studies and of scholarship.
