About Flora - Pomegranate
Fig (Ficus carica) is a prized citrus fruit that symbolizes life, peace, prosperity and fertility. It is believed to originate from Egypt, from where it arrived to Crete and around 9th century BC in ancient Greece. Fig is the food of hermits and the holy tree of many legends.
