About Queen Margrethe – Definitive Series
We began this Definitive series in 2012 featuring the portrait of Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark. The stamp design was created by Norwegian Martin Mörck and is based on a photograph by the official photogra-pher to the Danish Royal Family, Steen Brogaard. The Definitive series will be expanded on 21st June 2019 with yet another denomination; the eighth in the se-ries since it was first launched.About our QueenMargrethe Alexandrine Þorhildur Ingrid was born on 16th April 1940 at Amalienborg Palace, Copenhagen.
