2021World Famous Armenians - 150th Anniv. of Alexander Spendiaryan - Miniature Sheet

On June 14th, 2021, a souvenir sheet with one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “World famous Armenians. 150th anniversary of Alexander Spendiaryan” has been put into circulation.
The postage stamp of the souvenir sheet with the nominal value of 890 AMD depicts the Armenian famous composer, conductor and the founder of Armenian symphonic music Alexander Spendiaryan (1871-1928).
The souvenir sheet depicts the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan, the staue of Spendiaryan, his signature and the inscription “150TH ANNIVERSARY” in Armenian and English. The bottom part of the souvenir sheet also depicts the logo of UNESCO as the 150th anniversary of Alexander Spendiaryan is included in the 2020-2021 UNESCO calendar of renowned people and important events.
