2022 Classic Finnish Paintings II - Set

Second part of the popular series of rolls of stamps presenting Finnish art classics will be issued. Beloved classic artworks that are familiar to many were again chosen for the stamps. The new stamps feature Tyko Sallinen’s The Washerwomen, Helene Schjerfbeck’s Dancing Shoes, Pekka Halonen’sMaidens at the Headlands, Ellen Thesleff’s Reading Time, Akseli Gallen-Kallela’s Boy with a Crow, Elin Danielson’s Girl with Cats in a Summer Landscape and Albert Edelfelt’s two works The Luxembourg Gardens, Parisand Women outside the Church at Ruokolahti. The graphic design is by Ilkka Kärkkäinen.
