Produced in honour of Her Majesty’s 70 years of dedication and service to our Island, the United Kingdom and Commonwealth, we present this special philatelic numismatic cover.
The cover features two Isle of Man Stamps, the 62p value from the 2021 Devoted To Your Service collection positioned alongside the 2022 Platinum Jubilee issue £1.26 stamp. Special foil postmarks cancel both stamps, the date of Her Majesty’s passing (8th September 2022) and the date of Her Majesty’s funeral (19th September). The postmark locations are Royal Avenue and Windsor Road Post Offices respectively.
The cover incorporates a 2022 Manx legal tender 50p coin displaying the effigy of the late Queen, a fitting tribute to her reign. This PNC is strictly limited to just 250 items worldwide and postally marks the conclusion of the second great Elizabethan era.
