About Gara Boyuk Khanim Castle
One of the historical buildings located in the center of Shusha city is Gara Buyukkhanim Castle or Gara Buyukkhanim Tower. Only two of the castles built in Shusha Castle have survived to our times, one of them is the Gara Buyukkhanim Castle, located on the southeast side of the castle, and the other is the Castle of Panahali Khan. The inscription on the entrance door of Kara Buyukkhanim Castle indicates that it was built in 1768.
