About Club Unión Centennial
Club Unión was founded in 1923 by a group of coffee growers led by Oscar Rohrmoser, Alberto Echandi, Stanley A. Lindo, Roberto E. Smith, Alfredo Mata, Eduardo Beeche, Jorge Hine, Juan Dent and Enrique Wollenweber.
The construction of the neoclassical style building was carried out by the prestigious architects Francisco Salazar, Jaime Carranza and Gerardo Rovira. In 1983, a ravenous and terrible fire destroyed the emblematic building, and it was rebuilt in 1985, thanks to the hard work of the Board of Directors and its President, Dr. Mario Burgos.
Over time, Club Unión has created an exclusive space for its members to enjoy a social environment with the highest quality standards.
