Joint Issue Spain-Croatia – Mediterranean Fishing Boats

This joint stamp issue between Spain and Croatia celebrates the rich maritime heritage of the Mediterranean through two traditional fishing boats: Croatia’s Betina gajeta and Spain’s Llaüt mallorquín Balear. These distinctive wooden vessels represent centuries of coastal life, traditional boatbuilding and fishing practices. The issue pays tribute to the cultural traditions of Mediterranean fishing communities and the importance of preserving their maritime heritage for future generations.
