50 years of Azerbaijani Judo

Judo is a Japanese martial art. Dzhigaro Kano created the Basic Rules of judo, principles of training and methods of struggle on the basis of jiu-jitsu martial arts. The date of creation of judo is considered to be 1882.

50 years have passed since the establishment of judo in Azerbaijan. On this occasion, the postage stamp “Azerbaijan Judo 50 years” was put into circulation.
