Huseyn Javid's 140th anniversary

Philosopher poet, great playwright Huseyn Javid is one of the most powerful artists of the literary trend of romanticism in the history of Azerbaijani literature.

The poet was born in 1882, October 24 in the city of Nakhchivan. He studied first at mollakhana, then at the Nakhchivan Russian-tatar school (“school-upbringing”by Mahammad Tagi Sidgi), at Tabriz's “Talibiyya” Madrasah, as well as at Istanbul University.

H.Javid came to the world of literature with poetry and continued his poetic creativity throughout his life.
