About Prominent Armenians - 100th Anniversary of Ghukas Chubaryan
On June 16th, 2023, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Ghukas Chubaryan” has been put into circulation.
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 320 AMD depicts the prominent Armenian sculptor, People's Artist of the Armenian SSR Ghukas Chubaryan (1923-2009) creating the statue of Mesrop Mashtots.
The postage stamp also depicts number “100” which symbolizes 100th Anniversary of Ghukas Chubaryan as well as the inscription “Ghukas Chubaryan” in Armenian and English languages.
