About Prominent Armenians, 100th Anniversary of Academician Fadey Sargsyan
On October 2nd, 2023, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Academician Fadey Sargsyan” has been put into circulation.
The postage stamp with the nominal value of 320 AMD depicts a prominent Armenian Academician, scientist and political figure Fadey Sargsyan (1923-2010) against the background of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia where Fadey Sargsyan was the President from 1993 to 2006.
The postage stamp also depicts the inscriptions “100THANNIVERSARY”, “FADEY SARGSYAN” and “ARMENIAN ACADEMICIAN” in Armenian and English languages.
