Retail Stamp
Royal Mail is updating the design of our Retail Stamp Books and Business Sheets to incorporate the new King Charles III cruciform. The King’s Tudor Crown in the cruciform replaces the St Edward’s Crown.
The Tudor Crown made a comeback with the accession of King Charles III to the British throne. The Tudor Crown, also known as the King’s Crown, was last in use officially from 1902 to 1953 and replaces St. Edwards Crown, the widely used symbol of heraldry during the reign of Elizabeth II.
The font has also been updated from Chevin to PF Din Text to align with Royal Mail’s brand guidelines.
To avoid wastage, all new Stamp Books and Business Sheets will be printed according to stock demands, with release of 4 x 1st Books and Large Letter Books/Sheets to be announced in due course.
