On September 19th, 2025, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Dove of Peace” has been put into circulation. The embroidered postage stamp with the nominal value of 2500 AMD depicts a flying dove with an olive branch in its beak as a symbol of peace. The postage stamp has a unique format as it is fully embroidered and has a self-adhesive backing. The embroidery edge mimics postage stamp perforation. The postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Dove of Peace” has been issued within the frames of international project initiated by the Association of European Postal Operators (PostEurop). The project aims to raise awareness and promote the value of peace. It brought together a number of member countries of the PostEurop Association, the Universal Postal Union (UPU), the United Nations (UN), and the Austrian textile manufacturer Hämmerle & Vogel.
