2014Chinese Year of the Horse - Souvenir Sheet

CPost International is proud to emit their Chinese New Year Stamps Year of the Horse'. The Horse is part of a 12-year-cycle of animals that makes up the Chinese zodiac.

The Chinese zodiac calendar comprises 12 animal signs and the horse is the seventh sign among all of them. In Chinese culture, the Horse is a symbol of nobility, class, speed and perseverance.

2014 is the year of the Wooden Horse. Wood Horses are strong and stable and have a better ability to make decisions. Excellent at interacting with others, they are successful personally and professionally. This emission "Year of the Horse" is a souvenirsheet containing 4 stamps, depicting images of the White Horse Temple in China, White Horse Lake, traditional lampions, House of China and Chinese worker. Drawings are inspired in the traditional chinese ink style.
