The postage stamp of the souvenir sheet depicts the logo of the World Congress on Information Technology and the souvenir sheet depicts the Mount Ararat and a fragment of the Armenian landscape. The souvenir sheet also depicts the inscription “WORLD CONGRESS ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY” in Armenian and English languages.
The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) is the largest and the most reputable international event among worldwide IT leaders. It brings together high-level officials from different countries, heads of multinational organizations, universities and scientific research centers, non-governmental organizations' representatives and many more.
The WCIT 2019 is held under the slogan “The Power of Decentralization”. The Congress is hosted by Armenia with the support and under the high patronage of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) was established by the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA).
