2018FIFA World Cup - Russia - Set

This year will be the 21st FIFA World Cup and the football tournament is held in Russia.

The World Cup started on June 14 until July 15, 2018 with a start off match between Russia and Saudi Arabia. There are 32 teams participating, with Germany defending their title after defeating Argentina 1-0 in extra time in 2014. Iceland and Panama are the newcomers, having their first appearance at the FIFA World Cup.

Zabivaka is the Official Mascot of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, representing a wolf with orange sport glasses. Wearing the combination of white, blue and red that are the national colors of the Russian team. The Mascot was selected by internet voting and is designed by a student designer, Ekaterina Bocharova.

Both the 130c and 220c stamp values depict football players in intense tournament situations.
The 130c stamp: has a green abstract background separated with geometric shapes, representing the football field in green. The players are showing how diverse uniforms can be in colors. The two players depicted in a dynamic stance going at the ball, one attacking and the other defending. This stamp comes with the Official FIFA World Cup 2018 Emblem.
The 220c stamp: has a complete different color theme. This is in white, blue and red which are the national colors of the Russian team.
It has an abstract blue background outlined with hexagon shapes: this is from the goal netting that is in the background of the goalkeeper. This stamp comes with Zabivaka, the Official FIFA Mascot Logo, in its celebration stance.
