2021Jonas Kubilius' 100th Birth Anniversary - Set

In 1946, Jonas Kubilius graduated from Vilnius University, began teaching and taught there until 2011. The year 1958 was especially significant for Jonas Kubilius - he became a habilitated doctor professor, head of the Department of Probability Theory and Number Theory at Vilnius University and rector of the university. The professor is deservedly called the long-term rector - he was even 32 years old. In the same year, his most important work in the probabilistic number theory cycle “Probability Methods in Number Theory” was awarded the Lithuanian Science Prize. The book has been translated into English. This is the first mathematical monograph in the history of Lithuania.
